I don't get what my father really wants. He is all trapped up in his narrow little world, refusing to even get out of his comfort zone. I just want all of us to take a little family trip to the Pearl of Malaysia - Penang.
I have it all planned out, a hassle-free, relaxing, all-inclusive tour.
Do parents just derive a crazy amount of pleasure crushing their kids' plans, saying "Oh no you don't" all the time?
Or is my dad just the very rare anomaly?
This is a challenge to my persuasion and negotiation skills.
