Malaysian Cultural Night

February 07, 2009. A day we made history, we, the small number of Malaysians in Ann Arbor.
We hosted our first Malaysian Cultural Show and Exhibition.

We had a great "I am Malaysian" video made by Liau Keen Yee and his cool gang.
We had cool Wong Fei Hong Flag dance.
We had lovely girls dancing the Chinese Fan Dance.
We had beautiful girls dancing a sexy Indian scarf dance.
We had a cool fashion show with fabulous traditional costume and lovely models.
We had a cheerful Joget dance.
We had the loudest, most united Dikir Barat performance.
We had a melodious choir performance.
We had delicious Malaysian cuisine - Nasi Lemak, cekodok pisang, Popiah, cengka telur, satay, Malaysian drinks (??I din't get to drink...), cooked by the most talented Malaysian cooks in Ann Arbor!

We made a miracle. The publicity team pulled in more than 300 attendees who are non-Malaysians.

I am really really proud of our accomplishment, we made it, we made history in Michigan.
