My favorite season. In fall break, a two day vacation, we went to Upper Peninsula, Michigan. Plenty of fallen leaves, plenty of water, plenty of jokes, and plenty of fun.

Stress

If stress burns calories, I would be really skinny.

If junk food increases brain cells, I will be a super genius.

If friendship fills us up, I will be a hot air balloon carrying the whole world.

An Escape from Reality

A short getaway to Upper Peninsula in 1 hour. ^-^

所以,我可不可以繼續任性地, 放肆地, 一直笨笨的...

Random snippet of a conversation I overheard.

Why do college students in big cities, especially in United States, like to drink so much?

I suspect that it is due an incorrigible lack of "healthy" recreational options such as

karaoke, la teh (tea drinking sessions in Mamak - streetside stalls with delicious supper options that opens till 6am), shopping, movies, table tennis, pool, mahjong, Dota, Wii, community service, potluck, dimsum, family dinners, TVB dramas on Astro (Malaysian satelite TV) ... and Yes, boardgames such as Catchphrase and UNO!

"Yes, I do! I love Catchphrase! "

Curse me for not pointing out how cool the game was! Or, how "uncool" I am for loving it.

Catchphrase - A game where you have to get your teammates to say a word by verbal explanation before the timer goes off.

I shall eagerly wait for our next Catchphrase session....

Appreciating

Humans are conflicted beings who are so short-sighted.

We remember and rejoice for the once-out-of- a-hundred-times occurrence (the missed call, the missed anniversary, the broken mug, the out-of-the-blue kindness) but neglect to appreciate the 99 times warm support that were always there.

Here's to the 99 times and 1 in a million surprise.
